WEDDING WEEKEND

Wow! The day had arrived. Or should I say the weekend. This Sunday Pam and Nik will become husband and wife at a wedding I did start to finish, design, flowers, decor, everything! Even my son is catering. So very excited! And almost sick to my stomach at the same time. I have horror images in my mind of the luminaries catching fire or the candles not staying lit during the ceremony. Or falling over and setting Pam's dress on fire. Ugh, I need to stop! I ended up with so much stuff that I've had to rent a U-haul to move everything. A big expense, but had to be done. When I get further into this business, I'll buy my own. My house looks like a wedding hurricane hit it! But everything is amazing and I'm so proud of it all. I'll post tons of pictures here and Facebook for everyone to see afterward. I haven't posted any, because I didn't want to blow the surprise. And still, even after all of this, it's racing through my mind of what I didn't get done. How much more I would have wanted to do. I really do need to stop!

But here's a sneak peak at the awesome wedding decor!

A New Aisle Runner

Well, I decided to post an ad on Etsy for my aisle runners and was pleasantly surprised to get some responses.  It's very similar to the one I did for Nicole and Garth's wedding, except this bride wants their monogram letter in ORANGE which I just love!  Always nice when people aren't afraid of color!  I designed it in Publisher and got my very good friend to blow it up into life size for me for a template, so now I'm going through the tedious process of taping it together, so I can slide it under the runner for tracing.  UGH!
I nearly forgot! I've never put up Nikki and Garth's photos for everyone to see. First, I've got to give credit to the most amazingly hard working photographer I'ver ever seen, Renee Ittner McManus from RIM photography. The woman was everywhere! She got some great shots and is truly very talented. I've never seen so many absolutely perfect pictures. Truly. So, without further ado:

These were the wrist corsages the junior bridesmaids and flower girls wore.

The pew markers that absolutely made the whole church.

Garth's First Look at Nikki...wow. what a look of love. That guy adores her!

And Nikki's bouquet, so glad I knew about Branham's Wholesale Florist in Columbia. It saved us a ton of money on the 450, that's right, 450 roses (!) that we bought for me to do the flowers for the big day.

The aisle runner unfortunately didn't show well in any of the pictures, but I was thrilled to see the videographers used it as the background for the opening of the wedding video. You can kind of see it here:
